I am a student at Truman State University studying psychology and Spanish. For the past five years I have worked with children with special needs, the last two of those years as an ABA therapist for children with Autism. As much as I have loved working with kids, I am looking forward to expanding my client groups to include adults and adolescents in my future career as a counselor. When I’m not studying in Kirksville, I love to travel and experience new cultures. When I’m not able to do physical traveling, I find that my favorite books and bands take me to places that a plane ticket never could. Some of my favorite authors include Khaled Hosseini, John Steinbeck, and Laura Hillenbrand and some of my favorite musicians are Paul Simon, Van Morrison, and Alison Krauss. Perhaps most importantly, I have a cute little dog named Flike!

Erin takes point on managing our schedules, keeping files up to date, and helping people get questions answered and needs met.

Hello! I’m Eleanor, a senior university student working towards a degree on psychology. I have had a love for psychology and humanity for as long as I can remember and want to pursue a career as a licensed clinical social worker. My goal is to be able to change lives for the better, even in the smallest way.

I have had experience as a peer counselor and as a youth care specialist for kids on the Autism spectrum. Working with an autistic population was an enlightening and humbling experience and I will take the sensitivity, patience, and understanding I learned forward through my future career.

My best friend is my dog, Theodore, who lives with me while I go to school. Having an animal be with me through my most stressful times has been the best thing I could have done for myself. Dogs are better than cats, you can’t convince me otherwise.

Eleanor has BRAVELY taken on the task of working to get GCI on some insurance panels.  She works with new client intakes and insures we are staying up to date on answering correspondence through the week.
